Sharon Vink = Dynamic Employee Job Seeker About Me

Sharons family (mom, dad and four siblings) lived in Holland until they moved to Toronto in 1954. A few years later Sharon was born, she attended and graduated high school. From the age of four Sharon loved to swim competitively and was training to be an Olympic swimmer, however at the age of 16 she decided this was not what she wanted and found herself interested in the technological world. First it was sound studios and then computers and computer centres. She pursued this interest and then furthered her education by taking countless upgrading courses. Then Sharon relocated to Windsor, Ontario shortly after her first son was born. The proud mother of two children, she enjoys swimming, hiking, being a sports mom, camping, reading, gardening, and traveling. Special interest in how architecture influences people and their personalities influenced a lot of literary choices for Sharon. After having had a couple of years of self employment to be able to stay home with her young children Sharon returned to school as a mature student and graduated as a CET (Civil Engineering Technologist). Sharon's background includes Engineering, Production Supervision, Administration and Computers, and tutoring especially for young children - working within the school systems with learning challenged children in the areas of mathematics and reading. Sharon feels that her career/job is a really close runner up (second place) to FAMILY.
“Chaos and Challenge”, says Sharon. If it is considered impossible she will deal with the problem when few others can, often burning the midnight oil. A contributing factor to her success is over thirty years of persistence in various industries, acquiring the techniques needed to reach the top. Sharon is adamant about dedication and commitment and provides both with utmost honesty and integrity. She is a high energy, enthusiastic professional who is committed to long lasting relationships and dedicates herself to both, business and family. Specializing in Soils and Materials (concrete, wood and steel); Geographic Information Systems (GIS); Administration; Leadership; and Supervision, Sharon has a variety of talents. Since entering the business industry in 1975, she has come to understand that professional ethics are the foundation to her success in the ever changing technological world. The past influences the future not only in careers but also in architecture and environment.
